Name: Remus John Lupin.

The Appearance
Hair: He has long light brown, almost blond hair that he has a hard time doing anything with because it’s pretty shaggy. The only thing he can do with it is grease it back, which makes him look like an adult. Every time he gets a haircut it grows back overnight. After about ten times of cutting his hair he gave up and just tried to ignore it.
Face: The saying that the eyes are the window to the soul applies to Remus. He has blue-green eyes that always give away what he’s feeling and he hates that anyone could read him so well. He often has problems with his friends looking into his eyes and asking him what’s wrong even though he insists that he’s ok.
Body & Style: Remus stands tall at 6 feet and 3 inches and looks even taller due to his almost perfect posture. His back is always straight and he only slumps when he’s nervous. He has a slim build from taking really long walks around the Black Lake. He weighs about 155 but he gradually loses weight when the full moon is near. After the full moon has gone he starts gaining the weight back. Distinguishing Features: Remus has various scars over his body from his violence during his transformations. Luckily the ones on his face have healed.

The Magic
Wand: Holly 11” Romanian Longborn(dragon) scale core. The wand has been handed down in his family for generations and is in very good condition.

Dementor: The night he was attacked by Fenrir Greyback.
Patronus: Funnily enough...A wolf. His fondest memory is the first time he met James, Sirius, and Peter. He was astounded that they just accepted him. He was walking through the train, trying to find a compartment when he bumped into an older Slytherin. The boy couldn't have been older than a second year but Remus was still scared. Suddenly a boy with messy brown hair and another with black hair came to his aid, telling the older boy off with a series of curse words and threats. After they dragged him to one of the last compartments that contained a plump boy. He had no choice but to sit down with them. By the end of the ride they were already as thick as thieves.

Plans for the Future: He would love to be a professor, but his expectations aren’t high. He just hopes to have a consistent job doing something.
Personality:
Despite having suffered a great deal of prejudice in his life due to his lycanthropy, Remus manages to be somewhat normal for a boy his age. He is more mature than he should be but can be playful when he forgets the past. He also manages to see the good in everyone, which would be hard for any other boy plagued with being a werewolf. He doesn’t easily trust people but manages to be nice to everyone.
The one problem, if anything, that Remus has it’s that he likes to be liked. That causes him to let his friends slip past his radar. Which is why James and Sirius can pull whatever pranks they want and Remus still won’t chew them out. He would probably just try to be stern and end up letting them get off easily.
Remus is very intelligent and you can rarely see him without a book in his hand. He gets lessons down due to doing parts of James, Sirius, and Peter’s homework all the time. He doesn’t mind and gives in easily when they beg him to help them. He’s also very loyal and loves to stick by his friends for whatever reason.
Remus rarely gets mad, but when he does it’s a fearsome thing to behold. Say what you want about Remus being a wimp or about the lack of his male parts, but if he wanted to he could easily take on James or Sirius without fail. If he did it would be a close fight. They learned this the hard way once but they all agreed never to speak of it again. It was a very confusing time, as his whole life has been.

Residence: His family home in the English countryside many miles from civilization.
History:
The story of John and Judy Lupin is a normal one. They met during school and got eloped after their parents disagreed on supporting their marriage. Soon enough Judy became pregnant with twins and they couldn’t have been happier.
But on the day the babies were do they got the first one out ok but the second baby had somehow got it’s umbilical cord wrapped around it’s neck it suffocated before they were able to get it out. They named the one boy Remus and the boy that died Romulus. They still have a grave in their yard that Remus visits every year on his birthday.
Remus was a young child when he was bitten by Fenrir Greyback, a fierce werewolf known to position himself in close range of children on full moons. It is understood that Remus's father had offended Fenrir which is why Remus was chosen to be attacked.
Although Greyback usually likes to raise his young victims away from their parents to encourage them to hate normal wizards, it is apparent that this did not happen with Remus. Instead, his "parents tried everything" to cure him and did not inform him of who his attacker had been; it was many years later that he found out he had been bitten by Greyback.
When Remus was eleven he was scared because he thought he wouldn’t be able to go to Hogwarts but he met with Dumbledore and was accepted. He was overjoyed until he thought about how lonely he would be. Who would be friends with a werewolf? His prayers were soon answered when on the train ride to Hogwarts he met James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew. They accepted him immediately and didn’t ask any questions.
In second year his friends found out that Remus was a werewolf and worked from that day to help him any way they could. Remus was touched that they became animaguses for him but constantly told them that he was to dangerous. Each time he muttered those words James and Sirius would just laugh and pat him on the head telling him how weird it was that he was worried about them.
While James and Sirius became ever so popular with the school Remus always strayed from the limelight. James was excelling in quidditch and Sirius went along with him. Peter was always somewhere in the middle, wanting the spotlight but never getting it. Remus, however, focused on his studies. This could have been why he had not noticed that his three friends were learning to turn into animals. He was in the Library when they revealed it to him. He was so shocked that he knocked a few stacks of books off the table he was working at.
They instantly forced Remus to let them go out to the Whomping Willow with him. He didn't remember the night but after he did noticed that his fellow marauders had a few scars. He pushed about it but they just told him it was a minor setback in the big picture. He was too weak to scold them so he just let them be. They got pro at not getting hurt over the year and the studious boy couldn't help but to notice that he was hurting himself a lot less.
