Name: Adella Elaina Amerson.
Nicknames: Addie.
Birthdate: December 22, 1961.
Year: Five.
Gender: Female.
Sexuality: Straight. The concept to be anything but would never even occur to her.

The Appearance
Hair: Just like her older sister Adella has long, straight brown hair. However, unlike Olivia, Adella puts a lot more time and care into her hair. She very rarely cuts it so it falls mid-way down her back. Most days she’ll give it a light way with magic because she thinks it looks more sophisticated like that. Adella’s hair is her pride and joy.
Face: Adella has a small face and the same chocolate brown eyes of all her siblings. Adella’s expressions are usually fairly pleasant and she never gets angry or upset in public.
Body & Style: Adella is a rather tiny girl. She hasn’t hit 5’ yet and she doesn’t even way a hundred pounds. Her complexion is very clear and darker than the rest of her family giving her an almost (but not quite) Spanish look to her. She dresses in the latest fashions, and she very rarely wears anything but skirts or dresses.
Distinguishing Features: Her features that stand out the most are probably her small size combined with her long hair. All of the Amerson siblings bear a strong resemblance to each other so most people know her based off one or another of her siblings.

The Magic

Mirror of Erised: To be married to a wealthy, elite pureblood man with one or two perfect little children.
Dementor: She remembers the day her brother was disowned from the family after telling their mother he was going to marry a mudblood and all the screaming that followed. She’s absolutely terrified of being disowned.
Patronus: When she finally learns how to do the Patronus charm it will take the form of a swan. If she ever learns. She’d like too because she thinks they’re very pretty, but she doesn’t really see the need to since she’ll probably never be around Dementors for extended periods of time. Her best memory would be the first ball she was allowed to attend with her mother. Never was the six year old so excited about anything.

• She’s very charming and adults usually adore her.
• The pureblood is very well mannered and well spoken. She might dislike those beneath her, but she has enough courtesy not to show it in public.
• Adella is quite good at getting what she wants.
Weaknesses:
• She’s very petty and superficial.
• Adella believes everything she’s been told and she doesn’t even think about the possibility that maybe her parents are wrong.
• She’s very selfish and it doesn’t even occur to think of anyone besides herself first.
Plans for the Future: Her life goals are the same as her deepest desire: to get married to a wealthy, handsome pureblood and have one, two at the most, children and to throw lots of balls and have her friends over for tea every day. And there’s absolutely no reason why she shouldn’t get it.
Personality:
Adella has always gotten everything she could possibly want from life. She’s rich, pureblood, charming, and beautiful. Honestly, what more could a fifteen year old witch want? She’s the baby of her family, and her older sister had no interest in dressing up and being a lady even as a small child. Besides, Adella was far more charming and significantly prettier. She quickly became her mother’s favorite. (Their father was really apathetic about pretty much everything relating to his children. She very rarely sees him outside of family dinners and social gatherings.) She spent her entire childhood not only being convinced that purebloods (especially those with money) were far superior to others, but that she was beautiful and talented. Because of this she’s very full of herself and most people call her snobby. Of course she’s just as quick to judge anyone else and she has a negative opinion of anyone not in her family’s social circle.
Her whole life is about being a lady. All of Adella’s hobbies, playing the flute, speaking French, ballet, were chosen for her because they were things ladies did. She always speaks very properly and she never just acts silly, at least not in public. Perhaps if she had different parents she would have been a more pleasant person to be around. When she’s home and nobody but her sister is around she does act more like a teenager. She’s also ridiculously boy crazy. (Not just in an “I need the perfect husband” sort of way either. More like the giggling and doodling her name with his on her notes way.) She’s also a hopeless gossip. She doesn’t go out of her way to hurt others. It just never occurs to her to think about someone else for a change.
Adella is also extremely naïve. She’s not snobby and selfish because that’s who she is; it’s just the way she was taught. She barely realizes that there is a war going on despite the fact she has brothers on opposing sides. All she really thinks about is dresses and balls and finding her own little happily ever after. War is something for the men to worry about. She’s not completely innocent of course. She knows how to use her looks and her charm to get what she wants and like any Slytherin she can definitely pull off a lie.

History:
Anthony Amerson and Elaina Mason were betrothed less than a month after Elaina was born. Their mothers, Olivia and Helen, had been old school friends. Elaina’s mother, Olivia, didn’t get a son like she wanted. However she had already spent four years trying to get pregnant and had two miscarriages. Plus she had spent the entire last two months of her pregnancy bed ridden. She was not going to go through this again. So Olivia immediately went straight to Helen who had a six month year old son at home. The two decided that their children would be an ideal match, and it would tie two noble pureblood families together. So Elaina and Anthony grew up together both knowing that they’d be married a year after graduation. Elaina and Anthony were both Slytherins, and they were perfect stereo-types for their house. Both of them were cruel, manipulative, and cunning. They really were an excellent match. She was a perfect pureblood lady and he was quite the gentleman. Even if they weren’t in love they were certainly in lust.
Elaina found out she was pregnant almost a month before graduation. It would have been a scandal for both families if it had gotten out. So Anthony and Elaina were married immediately after graduation, and seven months later Andrew was born ‘early.’ There were rumors, but Olivia and Helen worked hard to squash them and nothing was ever proven. Two years later Evander was born, and just over a year after that Olivia was born. Adella followed another two years after that. Elaina fit right into her mother’s social network, and she decided that she wasn’t going to miss another party season. She was done.
Anthony, Evander, and Olivia were very close as children. Adella was close with her siblings, but she never really fit in the same way. Besides, she much preferred to play lady of the house and dress up while the other three played outside. Elaina had never been the kind of woman people would call maternal, and so the Amerson children were raised by nannies and house elves until Elaina was three when their parents decided that it was time the older children started getting their training. Private tutors were hired and since none of the children had started their lessons, they all started on the same spot. Elaina was still too young for most of the lessons so she spent most of her days playing in her room or being show off by her mother. Eventually Adella started her lessons too, but she got far less of the actual education lessons and more lessons to train her how to be a proper lady. Elaina already knew that Olivia was going to be difficult and she was determined that Adella would not be. Of course she wouldn’t have been anyways. Addie loved dressing up and sipping tea. She was spoiled rotten and constantly showered with compliments which caused her to get rather full of herself. She took ballet as her sister had done, but she actually enjoyed it. She also learned the flute (which she still knows how to play) and she’s fluent in French. Their parents also started teaching them the things that were taught by parents unofficially. They pressed into them that they were better than people who didn’t have money, or more importantly, better than those who had ‘dirty blood.’
Her older siblings all went to Hogwarts before her of course. Andrew and Olivia were both sorted into Slytherin, but to the family’s dismay Evander was not. Adella was embarrassed for her brother, but she didn’t really understand what was going on at the time. Eventually Andrew (the perfect pureblood son) joined the death eaters and Evander was disowned after he started dating a muggleborn. (The girl’s mother was a squib. It was very scandalous.) Adella never mentions Evander anymore though and sometimes she even forgets she has a second brother. Adella was never that close with either of her big brothers, but her relationship with her sister is a very interesting one at that. Adella rarely understands what her sister is talking about when she mentions words like feminism and inbreeding. She knows Olivia is different, but she also knows that makes her the favorite so she doesn’t mind too much. She’s always shocked when her sister does something she considers scandalous. Olivia usually (not always) manages to convince her sister not to tell their mother though. Now Adella is in her fifth year at Hogwarts. She nearly always acts like a perfect lady and she’s obsessively waiting to find out who she’ll marry and she occasionally takes it upon herself to do the searching.
