Lisette had always been known for being a morning person. But ever since she came back, nothing was the same - even she was not her normal self. Nowadays, the raven-haired girl simply felt like laying in bed all day. This was either laziness, or something worse. A voice in her head hinted at the later, but she simply ignored it. Today though, she managed to make her way to the Great Hall for some breakfast. She recalled Lily saying something about her parents not wanting her to mourn, and forced herself up. As soon as she sat down at the Ravenclaw table and poured herself some syrup over a stack of hotcakes however, she lost her appetite.
This was not unusual. In the past days her appetite had been abnormal. Some days she would skip a meal, and others she would stuff herself with sweets. Sighing, she pushed the plate away from herself and took a cup of tea. It was rather late, with a few stragglers eating their late brunches. Her stomach sickened at the sight of a Gryffindor dabbing his toast in his egg yolks. She stared at her food for a few moments before finally deciding not to force any food down. She was about to up and leave when she noticed someone making their way towards her.
Lisette remained in her seat and smiled politely at the older girl. She tucked her hair behind her ear and hoped that she looked alright. "Hey Dessy," she greeted, standing up for an embrace. "How have you been?" She hadn't heard from Dessy over summer, though she hadn't exactly been one for letters then. The older girl looked older, though some features were the same. Her curls were still there, and for a moment, Lisette missed her own long hair, wishing she hadn't been so hasty as to cut it.
