Diagon Alley was always alive. The streets weren't exactly gold, but who would really be able to tell with the crowds of wizards and witches swarming around certain shops? London had just spent the past fifteen minutes listening to a bunch of middle-aged men argue about who was going to be in the Quidditch World Cup. One of the men, from Belgium, swore that it would be the Irish and the French. She could hardly believe that. The Irish would have had a good chance, but not the French. It seemed that so much talent came from Ireland that it was almost impossible to beat them. She just figured that the Irish had some sort of awesome power bottled up and that was good enough for her. She tuned the men's conversation out when she reached into her bag and pulled out her Quidditch World Cup tickets. She only had four, and they were hell to get. She just needed to know who she was taking. Lily crossed her mind but she was unsure whether her friend would enjoy a game of Quidditch where everyone would be shouting and acting barbaric over their favorite precious little team.
London was also sure that Lily wouldn't want to go because she was planning on inviting James Potter and Sirius Black. They were avid fans, seeing as they all played Quidditch and they could all get competitive. So, maybe in some sort of alternative to Lily maybe she could find someone who loved Quidditch but didn't really hang out with her group so often. Though, she was hoping that Lily would actually get over her hatred for James and soon start realizing that they could have some chemistry between the two of them. But London wasn't exactly the perfect person to get those two together. But she could probably get some help from Sirius who was tired of hearing James groan and complain about how Lily turned him down AGAIN. This made her sigh. It would take a mastermind to get those two in some sort of situation that required them to work together constructively. Her head shook in a way that would clear her head, she was not going to get someone to help her to get Lily to fall madly in love with James Potter. It just wasn't ever going to happen this year.
London paused, looking around her before she started to head towards The Leaky Cauldron. She was working there, but not today. She figured a bit of relaxing might do her some good, she might even get to see someone so she wasn't so bored for the day. As she made her way down the streets she caught so many smells and sights that it was almost as fun as it was walking through Hogwarts. She could smell faint love potions to her right. The smell of the Quidditch Pitch, pumpkin juice, and a murky smell filled her senses. She loved love potions for the smell only. No one had ever tried to slip her one. Now that she thought about it she guessed it would be amusing if someone gave her love potion. Although she would probably get pissed after it wore off and then would kill the person who gave it to her. It was a very funny thought nonetheless. About ten more steps and London saw the Leaky Cauldron. It looked just as dark as it always had and she couldn't love it any other way. She hoped that it would always stay the exact same.
Once inside London looked for a table and then looked over at Tom. He nodded, knowing that she just wanted a Butterbeer. With that she sat down. She grabbed her tickets from her bag again and looked at them quizzically. Who was she going to take? She had to find a replacement for Lily for the game. She still had a month to go but then again they had to plan to get there early for good camping spots and such. The World Cup was a hastle but in the end it would always be worth the tremendous hard work. Her butterbeer floated over to the table, which was unlikely even for the Leaky Cauldron. She looked up and a grin broke out. "Hey," She started "I was wondering when you would show. You want to go on a vacation?" She asked, knowing that her friend would be the last person to think of Quidditch as a vacation. "So, How has your holiday been so far? I think we need to hang out or something. I'm becoming bored as hell all alone. Although I can just come here and see something different everyday." London grinned cheekily, taking a drink.
